The Matchmakers
(2023 - Viki, 16 1:10 eps)Rowoon has grown into a great comedic actor & this has some very funny scenes. The romance is reserved because both leads are widowed & of a social position that prevents remarriage.
Although titled "The Matchmakers," the main story is a political mystery. Because there are so many people on each side of the government involved & the main crime happened 8 yrs ago, the plot is complicated. It kept me guessing.
The contrasting story of the matchmakers is humorous, filled with shenanigans, & eventually ties in with the political intrigue. It also has a lot of characters which are difficult to keep straight. Be prepared to keep track of everyone.
The side characters are so enjoyable. The costumes have such beautiful colors. The cinematography & sound are delicious.
