_12월 20일까지🔥기독교대한감리회 경기연회 재판위원회는 12월 8일 이동환 목사에 대해 출교 결정을 내렸습니다. 이동환 목사는 "성소수자 축복식 등 동성애 옹호, 언론 인터뷰를 통한 교회 모함·악선전, 성소수자 인권단체 큐엔에이(Q&A) 개설" 등을 이유로 기소돼 지난달 30일 출교를 구형받았습니다.
🔥재판위원회는 이동환 목사가 성소수자 축복식 등 동성애를 옹호한 것이 감리회 내부 규칙인 ‘교리와 장정’의 제3조 8항(동성애 찬성 및 동조)에 위반된다고 판단했습니다. 재판위원회는 교회 모함과 인권단체 개설에 대해서는 무죄로 봤습니다. 오로지 동성애 옹호만을 이유로 출교라는 최고 수준 징계를 내린 것입니다. 2020년 열린 대한감리회 종교재판에서 이동환 목사는 ‘2년 정직’ 판결을 받은 바 있습니다. (한겨레 이준희 기자)
