Acting was fabulous. Shin Min Ah again plays a character that isn't likable at 1st, but as you understand her story, you begin to love her.
Truly a love story with great chemistry, you watch as strangers fall in love. Slow pacing, with a bit of drag in the middle, but an intense ending with all the feels & everything being wrapped up well. All the characters have great growth & the villain is perfectly creepy. There is a mystery & waiting to see if fate can be changed.
The OST & dreamy cinematography enhance the story. Time traveling can be confusing, but this is very well-written & time travel is not a plot device for convenience but the basis of the whole story. We learn lessons about living in the moment & appreciating what we have. Beautifully done!

Even in the old, lackluster story, "My Girlfriend is a Gumiho," she was star quality.
I am currently watching her in "Tomorrow with You" where she is also amazing.
& so far she is fabulous in "No Gain, No Love." Just a great actress!

My Girlfriend Is a Gumiho
(2010 - Viki, 16 1:10 eps)A Gumiho who wants to be human encounters an irresponsible, immature college student & saves him. He promises to help her & they develop feelings. I disliked the director's choice to convey the characters' inner thoughts - just talking out loud to themselves - horrible.
It is 14 years old, but even allowing for age, the production value is lacking, special fx are horrendous & the kisses are wooden. The fantasy elements of the story seemed to be made up as they went along & I was never exactly sure of the antagonist's motives. The leads are super-cute. It did have some sweet moments & some good comedy - especially the Gumiho's misunderstanding of human desires. I enjoyed watching in a B-movie way.

Oh My Venus
(2015 - Viki, 16 1hr eps)In this cute romcom bandaids become a symbol for healing - physically & mentally. The plot is about an overweight, stressed lawyer meeting a personal trainer after breaking up with her boyfriend of 15 years. They did a reasonable job with the weightloss transformation topic & tried to impress on the audience that a healthy inside was the goal.
The acting was outstanding (see comment about Sung Hoon). The leads were great together (loved her in Hometown Cha x 3). You will hate some characters - the ML's family is a mess. The 2nd couple will make you mad, but they have a lot of char. dev. The 3-way bromance is so cute.
There are some weird kDrama logic holes & some noble idiot shenanigans. Overall, it's a sweet, funny drama about healing.
