Another winning quality of the #GoryeoKhitanWar #고려거란전쟁 #Kdrama production is that they were not forced to follow a certain length per episode.
* Some episodes were more or less 60 minutes.
* Some more or less 35 minutes only.This allowed the writer and the director to truly form an accurate and dramatic portrayal of Goryeo's #history.
* They don't have to add filler scenes just to meet the required minimum minutes per episode.
* They don't have to cut an episode in a weird part of the story, just to fit that requirement.They told the story the way they think it should be told, not the way the industry demands.

S01E16 of the #GoryeoKhitanWar #고려거란전쟁 #Kdrama has proven that only #Asians can produce the most accurate depiction, and dramatisation, of war in early [East] #Asia.
It's only a #TV production, but the Koreans did superbly. The cinematography was amazing, and the use of slo-mo was perfect.

The #BGM for S01E15 of #GoryeoKhitanWar #고려거란전쟁 was touching and perfect. The cinematography also captured the hardship of their travel and the sacrifice of Goryeo's 8th King. T_T

There is a new #historical #tv #drama called #GoryeoKhitanWar #고려거란전쟁 and one dialogue resonated with me in regards to the #Philippines vs #China feud over the "South China Sea".
Official: If one has power, they can make any justifications for their actions. If one has no power, anything they say is only a counter-argument.
It is true. The Philippines brought China to the international Court re: South China Sea dispute, and what happened? Nothing even though the Philippines won.
China is holding considerable power so even they continue to use the stupid and baseless and no historical support 9/10-dash line.
While anything the Philippines did and said only ended as counter arguments.

This is only the premiere episode and the author already demonstrated their talent.
