34) TAKA-YAMA (鷹山)🪶
In 2022 Taka-yama, the 'Falconry Float' rejoined the parade. The original was damaged by a storm in 1826 and everything but the 3 'deities' burnt in 1864.
Using historical records the decorations were recreated, with other floats donating parts. -
🦅After it was destroyed in a fire 154 years ago, Taka-yama (鷹山) rejoined the festival in 2022 as the 34th float.
The float yukata was designed by a student from the Kyōto City University of Arts (京都市立芸術大学)👏
