This was actually the first of three cross-genre pictures, the lioness was second and the eagle was third. In the end I'll probably have to commissions someone who's better with humans...

I think I'll go with the neons for the #pliosaur and mosasaur #inflatable rafts when I get around to making them, they're supposed to have a slightly different feel than the shaped toys, plus that dark blue vinyl got hot in the sun.

Okay, it turns out that the correct term for #inflatable in Japanese is #空ビ (kuubi, literally “empty vinyl”, compare to sofubi “soft vinyl”) and that I was using the wrong reading of the first character (reading it as sora, “sky”). Ah, the pitfalls of machine translation.
Correction: The kanji is from a shortening of “kuuki” (air) so it’s “air vinyl”. Which makes a lot more sense.
