漸くPCに出た界の軌跡をクリアしたが『つづく』か。閃の軌跡ⅠやⅢと違って全く続きが気にならない。余りにも謎を残し過ぎて考察材料も乏しく「まあなるようになるでしょう」という投げ遣りな考察しか出来ない。開発リソースの節約のためか退場キャラの再利用が度を超している。ハッキング迷路の難易度が全体的に高め。尾行の難易度はかなり高い。グリムガーデンは敵を倒す条件にコマンドバトル、フィールドバトルまで付いて非常に面倒に。シナリオはあくまでヴァンが主役でリィンとケビンはおまけ程度のシナリオ量。更にシナリオが3人に分散したため各主人公のシナリオ量が非常に少ない。結社との馴れ合いが更に進んで存在意義を疑う程。評価出来るのはリゼットの過去が「全2作と比べれば」見えてきた事位か。メアに関しては全く進んでいない。今回の取って付けたような無茶な世界観をどう収束させるのか期待出来ないのも続きが気にならない原因につながっている。続編がPCに来るのは多分3年後位だろう。その頃には存在自体忘れているかも知れない。

Finished Kai no Kiseki. I thought it was a good entry in the series that really pushes the series forward. I didn't care as much for the gameplay as I did for the story, and the story certainly did deliver. Took me 72 hours to finish.

Currently 23 hours into Kai no Kiseki. On the one hand I'm enjoying that the arc has finally started in earnest and it rekindles something within. On the other hand I realise that my life has become woefully incompatible with how thoroughly I used to play these games. Now, after a day of work and getting two kids to bed, I'm too fried to patiently sit through NPC dialogues and irrelevant sidequests.

Started playing Kai no Kiseki in earnest yesterday. Well, 'playing'... My two hour play session involved listening and talking to characters in a language I've barely used recently.
