With this single dictionary in hand, one can perform English-to-Chinese translation with a direct search, it also provide a Chinese Index for Chinese-to-English translation via a reverse look-up.
The Chinese Index, based on Professor Cheng’s original stroke and radical character indexing system, is indeed the genesis of the “Zhengma” input method.

@langtales I have been using HelloChinese as a complement to weekly online lessons since I started learning.
At first I did their regular learning path, but I never completed it; now I mostly read and listen to texts.
For this I would also recommend Dong Chinese. I still only use HelloChinese though, mostly because I got used to it and am too lazy to switch. I also really like Dong Chinese because of their amazing, completely open character wiki!

那么什么是好的#汉语？当代作家们已经至少呈现出了三种工作趋向：一是回到#纯洁汉语，回到三四十年代刚离开#古汉语 没多久的#白话文。二是，一些人认为我们的语言已经过度#西化，或者过度新华体，应该回到#方言，回到源头活水。很多人认为方言是土生土长的、原汁原味的中国人的思维。三，还有一类人受西方影响，主张#语言 回到身体，而这也是语言的本源。所以我们可以看到在当代#写作 中，一直有人努力使当代汉语成为一种带有身体性的语言，能真正自如地表达疼痛，表达欲望、富有温度、弹性、湿润度或者干涩。这三种努力都使得我们的语言活跃起来。
