This is one of my red hybrid jabuticaba’s second flush this summer (after winter/spring). I can’t get a pic of all the flower buds in two shots but it is safe to say that it now outcompetes tomatoes in size/production/nutrition.

Campanumoea lancifolia, 蜘蛛果 (spider berry)

Had to move plants around to hand-pollinate flowers and some spider berries fell off. They’re not quite ripe.

Tastes like strawberry+fig (but less intense), sweet but a little tart, has floral notes and aftertaste like rose. Not huge flavor but nice. The texture is sorta crisp like mitsuba stems.
