This is right between a school and a park that’s popular with families. It’s not like the whole town is this bad, but sometimes concentrations of rubbish like this randomly develop.

If you look closely you can see the flecks in the gutter are cigarette butts, which are ubiquitous here.

It’s odd to me that there’s such great community responsibility and care about some things, but littering can simultaneously be an enduring problem.

I laughed when I saw that they launched this in 東港, because this place has to be the most in dire need of it, thanks to the dirty behaviour of so many 八加九
