早期的復興號是像莒光號一樣的塗裝，米色配橘色，與莒光號不一樣的是，復興號側面是二條白線，復興號最初的名字是“莒光特快附掛冷氣對號”。
後來更名為“復興號”，並獨立票價，再之後改成天空藍白塗裝。 -
They fixed the ticket layout issue! 🎉
They also renamed the passport number field to “Passport No./Resident certificate UI No.” to presumably get around the ID Number field not accepting ID numbers from 居留證 😄

I do wonder how much testing was done on the Taiwan Rail app when English is selected 😅
The poor translations throughout the app aren’t a big deal to me (although it wouldn’t be hard to have someone check it…), but not being able to view all of the ticket details is really silly.
Also: a huge strike for not accepting the new ID number format for 居留證 holders. (the entire point of them issuing new numbers was to fix these issues, but of course they made them slightly different…)
