Reza Ramezanzadeh, a political and civil activist, was arrested in front of his home on November 21, 2024 (November 21, 2024) and transferred to Greater Tehran Prison. He had previously been sentenced to one year in prison by Branch 26 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court on charges of “propaganda against the system.”

In Greater Tehran Prison, Mr. Ramezanzadeh was transferred to Ward 2, which is where prisoners with violent crimes are held. This transfer was made without respecting the principle of separation of crimes, and he has been deprived of his personal belongings, including clothes and other facilities.

In addition, visits to him have been banned, and this ban was imposed by order of the execution of sentences and with the intervention of the Revolutionary Guards’ intelligence.

Given the difficult conditions and violations of Mr. Ramezanzadeh’s basic rights, it is essential that we be his voice and demand respect for human rights and fundamental freedoms.

رضا رمضان‌زاده، فعال سیاسی و مدنی، در تاریخ ۳۰ آبان ۱۴۰۳ (۲۱ نوامبر ۲۰۲۴) در مقابل منزل خود بازداشت و به زندان تهران بزرگ منتقل شد. وی پیش‌تر در اردیبهشت ۱۴۰۳ توسط شعبه ۲۶ دادگاه انقلاب تهران به اتهام «تبلیغ علیه نظام» به یک سال حبس محکوم شده بود.

در زندان تهران بزرگ، آقای رمضان‌زاده به بند ۲ منتقل شد که محل نگهداری زندانیان با جرائم خشن است. این انتقال بدون رعایت اصل تفکیک جرائم صورت گرفته و وی از انتقال وسایل شخصی خود، از جمله لباس‌ها و دیگر امکانات، محروم شده است.

همچنین، ملاقات با وی ممنوع شده و این ممنوعیت به دستور اجرای احکام و با دخالت اطلاعات سپاه پاسداران تعیین شده است.

با توجه به شرایط سخت و نقض حقوق اولیه آقای رمضان‌زاده، ضروری است که صدای او باشیم و خواستار رعایت حقوق بشر و آزادی‌های اساسی شویم.
