Elwood [Francis, bassist] and I got an unexpected call from our dear Frank Beard, our dear drummer for 50 years. I've never heard him admit, he said, 'My bass drum foot's a little weak. Can you get my man to take over?' I said, 'Oh yeah, yeah, he's been doing pretty good.' Frank said, 'Yeah, that's what worries me.'"

Más allá de lo afortunado o no que sea titular un obituario con un chiste de cuñao, esto ha conseguido ponerme todavía más triste en un día que tampoco estaba siendo una fiesta :mario_flop:
ZZ Top fue la primera banda de la que se puede decir que me convertí en fan, la primera que me obsesionó. Aún incluso a día de hoy, después de más de 20 años haciendo scrobbling en last.fm, sigue siendo la que supuestamente más he escuchado.
De la formación clásica sólo nos queda Billy Gibbons a quien le deseo tanto una buena salud como que deje descansar ya la banda y no haga más giras descafeinadas.
