Last race of round two of the ZRL was my strongest of the season, holding onto the lead pack until half way up the final climb, and pulling my ranking back to the cusp of silver on zwiftracing.

I raced on Zwift tonight in the Bikes France community festival race - on the Douce France route. Held onto the lead group until the Aqueduct summit, and maintained sufficient gap to the group behind to hold off the charge of the sandbag brigade at the end.

Tonight I raced on Turf 'n Surf with Team CLS Chill against the Herd of Hammerheads in the Zwift Club Ladder Series. I accidentally sent myself up into C category, which I didn't really want to do until the spring. Read on for how we got on, and a little about the ladder series in general.

I needed to race a non WTRL event to reboot my 30 day race score in ZwiftRacing ahead of a ladder race with Team CLS on Thursday. The Loop de Loop course is my cycling hell, up, down, up down. I managed to hold on with the lead through to the final hill, staying with the 4th - 6th group up the final climb. I was just outsprinted on the line, finishing 6th.

Racing with Team CLS on Country to Coastal. Got dropped on the initial climb from the start, but got pulled a group back to the front. Held on through the climbs 18.6 - 20.1km and 26.7 - 29.2km, but dropped on the final climb back to the start. With 5 in the top 15, we won on the evening as a team.

Raced in D tonight in the Zwift Racing race on Turf N Surf in Makuri Islands.
My legs felt heavy from the off, but I managed to hold on to the lead group until the final climb a couple of KM out, where I dropped off the back. Davies and Blyth came past in the last stretch, thankfully relegating me to 13th - but a few DQs above put me back in 13th. I don't do 13th.
New FTP up at 211W, thankfully still have quite a bit of headroom in D.

Raced on Zwift tonight with Team CLS. I messed up the first FAL by sprinting for the start, the second by going too early, and got the third one right coming third - though it was second on my screen! The first time I've completed Sugar Cookie, and I've not raced 40km for some time, the hill in the final 10km drained me completely - dropped out of the lead pack, happy to hold on for 9th. #zwift #zwiftRacing #cycling

Sneaking in my weekly Zwift Race for Team CLS before heading out for an afternoon of Rugby and Richard Ashcroft in Manchester. Was surprised to be first out of the blocks, and more so to hold in the lead pack and sprint for second at the end. TFC Mad Monday EU (Mad-End) (D) race on Casse-Pattes in France on Zwift. Took advantage of suppressed ZwiftPower rating to race unusually in D+. Definitely more competitive, more enjoyable for it, but could not get fully back after failing to anticipate the sprint. 13th/32.
