  2. If you're planning on attending the California Community Colleges' #ZTC Summit this Friday, May 9, at College of the Canyons be sure to say hello to #LibreTexts founder and Executive Director, Delmar Larsen, and Director of Outreach, Engagement, and Development, Jennifer Rogers. We can't wait to hear about all of the amazing #OER and #ZTC projects happening across the state and share what our team has been up to in order to help you along the way!

  3. Very excited to announce that I am launching the (tied-for) 1st #MSW (masters of #socialwork ) program that is #ZTC #OER and #workfirst.

If you know of anyone looking, we are a fully online program. Half sync/async. Designed for working students.

And recently awarded pre-candidacy by #CSWE.

  4. @impactology do you of any efforts to bring a #oer platform like #pressbooks into the #fediverse? I recently built a pressbooks site for my college for our #ZeroTextBook #ztc effort and now I want to see a federated #OpenSource book system. I don’t know much about #bookwyrm but from what I see it is more for reviews than for text distribution? If this already exists I would appreciate being educated

  5. @TusculumPearson Which could be the basis for side conversations about openness beyond costs and about alternatives to textbooks. As much I like the overall #ZTC idea and related #ZedCred moves, it's possible that "what's best for learners" goes beyond instructor-led no-cost courses in institutional programs using no-cost textbooks. I know it may sound radical. I just need healthy doses of bell hooks, Ivan Illich, and Paolo Freire.
