Zrythm v2.0.0-alpha.2 is out!
New in this release: chord assistance (pad, editor, suggestions), musical mode with offline time-stretching, and new arranger tools (pencil, eraser, cut, ramp, audition). Plus lots of fixes.
Alpha quality: missing features, expect bugs.

ZRythm reached 1.0.0 status yesterday. It's a new, powerful open source DAW, for all major platforms. However it runs really hot on my laptop, and not all my plugins were recognized. Bright future ahead though!

🎉 Zrythm v1.0.0 is here! Production-ready on GNU/Linux and beta on Windows/Mac.
We're also making great progress on v2 with Qt6/QML, which will bring improved cross-platform support and faster feature development.

@eugenialoli I've tried to switch to anything from #flstudio. Somehow 10 years experience of using flstudio are making me unable to switch - everything seems wrong and clumsy. So I just stopped making #music after final switch to #linux, lol. And I can't even describe what part of ux/ui of flstudio is missing in #lmms, but it probably behavior of piano roll and patterns.
Btw there is also #zrythm. -

#Zrythm can now easily be built in #GNOME #Builder ! This uses #Flatpak internally to download and build all dependencies so no need to worry about dependencies when building Zrythm yourself.
Try it by cloning https://github.com/zrythm/zrythm inside GNOME Builder! Great for easily contributing code, debugging and testing latest features in-between releases.
