  1. When I was a kid, my father bought one of those "Great Books" collections. One of them was "In Praise of Folly" with illustrations by Hendrik Willem Van Loon, a popular children's illustrator. I loved those quirky scratchy sketches and copied many of them. I guess I have incorporated that style into my adult life. Still quirky and scratchy.
    These are sketches of people in a Zoom class I attend.
