P.S. It seems there is no way to proxy this #IRC bouncer with #Nginx, so there are no Tor and I2P options available for this moment, but Ygg/Myc users are free to connect out (after account request).

  6. @mark22k, I believe that a #ZNC user is able to choose any server from the networks above. As I understand it, this #bouncer is designed to be a shared service rather than a solo one.

P.S. personally, following #BonoboNet (Ygg + Myc), #Benisnet (Ygg), #Libera (Tor via SASL/cert), and few local networks in I2P

  7. Mention if someone wants a free account on our #ZNC bouncer, which allows to read #IRC history in #Yggdrasil, #Mycelium, #I2P, or #Tor channels.

  8. not sure if it's a #gnome #polari #znc or #ssl problem but i can't for the life of me connect polari to a self signed cert znc server. 😐

  11. Dear #lazyweb,

It turns out I'm one of only a few people who are using the #znc #irc bouncer at work. As a result I'm looking for hosted bouncers. So far I've found #irccloud and #irctoday. Are there any other hosted options I should look at? I'm tempted by irccloud if the #slack integration works because like it or not its where the corporate stuff happens.

  12. I think I'll install #ZNC again as an #IRC #bouncer instead of #pounce and #litterbox. that breaks my heart because i love these softwares but znc is more friendly imho. i'll see how it goes

  13. @mostlypat for IRC you can go offline and still keep up if you use a such as which supports configurable playback for channels. I don't bother though, I just have running all the time on a VM with a permanent connection to the intertubes.

  14. @jeffalyanak I just went back to Quassel as had migrated to #ZNC but had issues with my reverse proxy. To be fair it was due to the IRC protocol not forwarding through the proxy which is not ZNC's fault. But I like the Quassel mobile app more so moved back to it.

Only odd thing with #Quassel is you can't do everything in the web client, so do need to use a desktop client to add new #IRC networks and manage it properly.

  15. just found out that my #ZNC has been down since July 4th fml

  16. After a friend set up a server, I'm back on IRC. A few words on setting up a ZNC bouncer on a NixOS server to maintain a persistent connection.

  17. Ping me if you want a account for .

ZNC let's you catch messages even when you're offline, basically.

The catch is I want you to join my IRC server.
