Situation:
I've played #Zildjian cymbals for close to 40 years and only now got the nerve to puck up a set of #Paiste cymbals.
I've been playing them.
They're really cool.
But this switch is a super (not musically) funky experience.
Everything is way different.
I'm thinking that if I were a guitarist it would be like moving from a trusty Strat or Tele to a Flying V or a Jackson?
Does that make sense?

As Zildjian celebrates their 400th anniversary tonight with a concert in Boston, I want to show off this rare #cassette in which Armand Zildjian and Lennie DiMuzio pay tribute to their close friend, famed drummer Buddy Rich. This tribute aired on National Public Radio in 1988. It is said #zildjian had these cassettes made to give as gifts to friends and patrons of the company. #cymbals

It’s #CymbalSaturday and I got some time to check out my new Zildjian 21” K custom hybrid ride. I really like it so far though it’s pretty different from my previous ride. This thing sings when you hit it just right. Smaller sweet spot on the bell but it’s awesome. I love how it sounds so it’s sticking around #zildjian #kcustom
