Decided to explore #Corel #Painter2019 by trying to draw a familiar sight from my childhood: the #bridge over #ZijkanaalC, #BrugBuitenhuis, near my #parentalHome in the #Netherlands.
It's been a long time since I last touched any version of #CorelPainter. The last time it was probably still called #KaiPainter 😏
Still getting the hang of the #perspectiveGuides, but for 30-45 minutes of drawing with #BeardGrabber on and off my lap, I'm satisfied with it.

Brug #Buitenhuizen
This #bridge over #ZijkanaalC (side channel "C" of the #NorthSeaChannel #Noordzeekanaal) was part of my daily view while growing up in the #Netherlands.
It's seen many iterations (and actually, the original bridge that this one replaced, no longer exists), but nevertheless it's a very familiar sight for me.
Before migrating to Norway, I tried getting it accepted as portal in #Ingress, but unfortunately it got rejected.
