@mawhrin Ale tak na poważnie, połączenie ekspres PKP z Berlina bardzo się poprawiło. 2h do #ZielonaGora . W końcu cały czas od wyjazdu z Berlina pociąg jedzie 160 kmph. I obsługa mówi już nie tylko po polsku.

In 2023 we took a #CrossBorderRail trip of over 1600 km, from #ZielonaGóra through #Poznań #Berlin #Köln #Brussels to #London. Optimistically planned for 14 hours of train journey (though with a hotel stay in Brussels - I'm not *that* optimistic!), in the end it took 36 hours, with an unplanned night stay in Köln. We did get to do some sightseeing in Brussels though! Highly recommended if you enjoy trains.

@wariat @TOrynski @jon Among the stations the PKP online booking system was missing was also Frankfurt (Oder). I've not taken the route #ZielonaGóra - #Frankfurt in a few years now, but not only you couldn't buy the ticket online, you also couldn't buy it in the machines at the station or on the train. You had to stand in the queue to the cash register.
Well that, or buy the online one and then hunt for the ticket inspector on the train who'd sell you a group discounted add-on for over-border.

Next fun station is #ZielonaGóra Główna. We have four platforms there: 1,1a, 2, 3.
Platform 1 is adjacent to the train station building, and features track 4 to the north of it.
Platform 1a is an extension of platform 1 to the west, and it features track 8, to the south. It is a terminal track, open to the west.
Platform 2 is the central platform. It is next to platform 1 (i.e. north of it), and features tracks 1 and 2.
Finally, platform 3 is east of platform 1, but it's not directly connected to it. If I recall correctly, back in the day you'd actually have to exit the train station and find the platform entrance on the street. Nowadays, there's a sidewalk connecting platforms 1 and 3. While platform 3 is parallel to platform 1, and also has a track on its north side, it features track 52, as track 4 joins track 2 earlier.

W weekend byłem w Zielonej Górze na konwencie "Bachanalia Fantastyczne". Obejrzałem tam między innymi film "Fantastyczny Matt Parey" - biografię Macieja Parowskiego.
Z pokazu wyszedłem zażenowany. Ten film zrobili ludzie, którzy nie rozumieją teraźniejszości i mentalnie tkwią w - co najmniej - latach osiemdziesiątych.
Jedna z ostatnich scen filmu pokazuje ubiegłoroczny #Pyrkon, a konkretnie - obecnych na nim cosplayowców. Rechocik obecnych na sali starców utwierdził mnie w przekonaniu, że ta scena ma pokazać jak bardzo fantastyka, przy pomocy której Parowski walczył ze złym PRLem, teraz została "zawłaszczona przez jakieś dziwadła".
No i absolutnie rozwalił mnie fakt, że w tym filmie można posłuchać co na temat Parowskiego mają do powiedzenia takie typki jak Ziemkiewicz, Przewodas i Koszałek-Opałek Pipiliuk. Dobrze, że nie zaprosili pieprzonego Komudy. Już mniejsza o to, że wymienieni panowie są po prostu paskudnymi typami - problem w tym, że oglądając to dzieło można odnieść wrażenie, że fantastyka to domena prawoskrętnych staruszków. Najmłodszym, który snuje swoje wspomnienia na temat głównego bohatera jest chyba Szczepan Twardoch. Znaczy co - mam rozumieć, że nikt młody już nie pisze fantastyki w Polsce?
Film zrobiony przez dziadów, dla dziadów. Gratuluję dobrej roboty, drodzy twórcy - dzięki waszemu wysiłkowi młodzi fani fantastyki nadal będą mieć gdzieś to jak kładliście podwaliny pod fandom w Polsce (bo wszyscy już wiedzą, że walczyliście z komuną Funky Kovalem i nikt nie ma ochoty słuchać tego po raz tysięczny). A Parowski, razem z całym jego dorobkiem i wszystkimi zasługami - odejdzie w zapomnienie.
Plus jest jeden - w filmie można zobaczyć zdjęcie Danuty Polch. Faktycznie wygląda jak Brenda.
