Don't get me wrong, we have original Zeta in Leeuwarden who were sick and tired of it themselves and chose a life of poverty with loss of technology... they're in the same boat.
The Zeta did it with their own technology on their person which forms a network. The technology works for one soul only. They have to secure cloning, inherit their own technology to remain in control.
