Joining the exclusive tasting in the stylish and extravagantly designed Sketch restaurant, I am keen to savour French Bloom both on its own merit…

  2. For the non-drinkers who like a little treat these two pair well together. Mix them 2:1 (2 espresso martini mix, to 1 Clean R), shake over ice, and serve. #NoAlcohol #ZeroAlcohol

  3. A beautiful and productive evening at the reserve but this needs testing before I launch into identification.

Edit: Intensely hoppy. Dominating everything. Gives it flavour but I prefer a lighter, fresher Pilsner style tbh

  4. Zum #tatort gibt's jetzt todesmutig dieses Malzbier aus dem polnischen Supermarkt. Na zdrowje! 🍻 #alkoholfrei #noalcohol #zeroalcohol #polen

  5. Giesens Winemakers are producing Zero alcohol award winning wines. They've invested in a bigger spinning dome machine to meet demand and now produce 1.8 million litres of zero alcohol wine per year.
At present it uses LPG. They are planning to convert it to ethanol, using the alcohol separated out from the wine.

    That is quite impressive.

  11. We're excited to announce we'll be stocking these award-winning non-alcoholic aperitifs from #DrinksKitchen. They're a great addition to our other alcohol free alternatives, #Kombucha from #CounterCulture and zero alcohol beer from #WiperandTrue and #GoodChem. With four flavours available, add some tonic or soda and try something different at our brewpub this Thursday.

  16. For our first review in #DryJanuary, we start with #clausthaler's ISO. At 0.0% ABV, ISO clearly doesn't taste like an NA beer. Well, not 100%! Instead, we can glean from our experience something akin to a pale lager with the alcohol removed. If this is your first #ZeroAlcohol beverage, then it might be a bit jarring at first. Also, despite having 0 alcohol, a 11.2 fluid ounce can will your New Year Resolution back by 105.6 calories.
    More on #Clausthaler ISO
Out of the can, ISO produces a hefty amount of off-white head, resting on a pool of clear gold. Swirling and sniffing, we recover some earthy notes, but overall a strong malted aroma.
Sipping, you get a tiny bit of bitterness, but overall the malted barley steals the show.
Overall, ISO has a mild to medium mouthfeel, no alcoholic warmth, and a bit of cloying on the palate.
Consider this an alternative to water, if you're looking to recover some calories. Or just enjoy one, as an alternative to "one more beer".
