The July newsletter for paid subscribers is going to be an introduction to going zero-waste: what that means, some considerations for doing it, and why you want to keep food out of the landfill.

Now, none of this seems very groundbreaking, perhaps, but I'm going to get into some of the deeper considerations of not just "what" to compost, but how to even go further and truly utilize everything to fill further needs in your own environment. As always, we're going to take our specific experience as a case study and offer some considerations for what might work even better for *you* in your specific situation.

We're lucky enough to have had a significant amount of support come through from all of you, and to be steadily building some potential income streams here. However, we are no longer operating with a corporate job at all, so newsletter subscriptions, direct sales of our products, and tattoo bookings *are* what's keeping us going right now. So if you have $5, consider bumping up your free subscription to a paid one and helping us maintain an almost completely closed-loop farm and continue educating folks in a resource-stressed region how to better utilize resources and give back to the land while feeding themselves and surviving our harsh climate.

I setup a new trellis area for my extra cucumber & cantaloupe plants. I used a free, discarded, partial bamboo trellis fence & old broom poles/scrap wood to set it up.

Toted back on my mobility scooter, looking like a weirdo with legs off the side of scooter with my buckets on footrests. I don't care about that. I got lots of awesome free landscaping rocks ✌️

Used, wheeled, stand-up golf bags & used baby strollers are good for gardeners who are physically disabled, who are able to stand/walk independently but struggle with carrying heavier tools/supplies around. I used a heavy duty, used, free baby stroller, to tote my gardening tools/supplies when I lived on farm acreages. It allowed me to work more independently, tending to gardens.
