Il y a 80 ans, le 20 juin 1944, Jean #Zay, avocat, ministre de l’Education nationale et des Beaux-Arts sous le #FrontPopulaire, était assassiné par la #Milice.
Aujourd’hui, les héritiers de cette même Milice sont aux portes du pouvoir !

Au parc Pasteur d'#Orléans a été inauguré tout récemment un monument en mémoire de Jean #Zay, natif de cette bonne ville.
Réalisée par Anne et Patrick Poirier, cette sculpture monumentale de 25 mètres de long et pesant 17 tonnes a la forme d'une table, faisant « référence aux banquets républicains qu'affectionnait Jean Zay, mais aussi au banquet de Platon, métaphore de la démocratie et du débat ».
