I've held off watching the Rebel Moon films because of all the bad press (and because I gave the first one ten minutes and didn't love it). But I'm hoping the director's cut versions deliver something much better. I'll likely give those a chance.

I finally caved and got Zach Snyder's Justice League. It's 8. Hours. Long...
So far, I'm just over an hour & ¼ in, and I think I've seen maybe 30 minutes of the theatrical film. But the added stuff is so gorram good!

I need help: Who’s to blame for me forgetting #zachsnyder movies?
#netflix alerted me that #rebelmoon part 2 will soon be released, yet part 1 has already complety disappeared from my memory. Even though I only saw it a few months ago.
Reminds me of the time #batmanvsuperman came on TV and only halfway through I realized I’d already seen it. -
The best bit of #RebelMoon was when I went for a piss & the only problem was that I paused it instead of shortening the ordeal by 2 minutes. Good grief that was a bad film. The weird nipples dude with the gryphon? Pointless. The crusty general? Pointless. Spider fight lady? Pointless. Maybe they'll do something other than a set piece in the second part but I doubt it because #ZachSnyder makes terrible films. Worse than Jupiter rising, worse than valerian. 2 statements I never thought I'd make.

Figure out what your fans are excited for, then disappear/say nothing for long stretches of time, come back randomly to slightly tease more, disappear again, rinse and repeat
#BelleDelphine did this for awhile, building hype about her potential for posting nudes or something, and she dragged out the hype for years IIRC, being as mysterious as possible, but once she actually posted to porn all the hype died out cuz the people got what they wanted
Part of me wonders if that first part of #BelleDelphine's model is something #WarnerBros is doing with the #SnyderVerse, either to sustain hype for the #SnyderVerse, or out of fear that once #ZachSnyder's vision is completed (it won't last forever because the fans know that #ZachSnyder has a specific end in mind, with #ZSJL3), all the #SnyderVerse fans will get bored and leave.

It's a bit odd but here's how it goes:
The #DCEU includes all #DC films made so far except for the #SnyderCut of the #JusticeLeague movie, AFAIK. The #SnyderVerse official includes #ManOfSteel, #BatmanVsSuperman, and the #SnyderCut of the #JusticeLeague, although I think the first #WonderWoman movie fits in there too. Where the #DCEU and #SnyderVerse diverge is with #JusticeLeague; in the #DCEU, the canon version of #JusticeLeague is the theatrical release, while in the #SnyderVerse, the canon version is the #SnyderCut.
AFAIK the later movies like #Shazam are far enough removed that they technically don't contradict the #SnyderVerse, but they're not technically within #ZachSnyder's vision for the storylines either.
At this point, the #SnyderVerse really is nothing more than a trilogy, with a suspected sequel trilogy with an integration into either the upcoming #Shazam movie, the upcoming #BlackAdam movie, or (most likely) the #TheFlash movie, which I expect will officially end the #SnyderVerse universe by causing it to collapse. But there were plans for two more #JusticeLeague films, although those are in limbo.
Now #Netflix has a deal with #ZachSnyder to make his own stuff, so that's cool; he'll most likely have better luck there since he's always been at odds with #WarnerBros executives and the #MSM, most likely due to his affinity for #AynRand's philosophy and inclusion of her philosophies in his works of art. Still, I'm a bit miffed because I don't plan on watching anymore content that's locked into a controlled ecosystem like #Netflix...his movies there will probably not come out on #DVD or anything
