Yet another TV reboot that we never heard anyone asking for, much as we enjoyed the original back in the early 2000s. A "Scrubs" update is in development at ABC, with star Zach Braff set to reprise his role as Dr. John "J.D." Dorian. Creator Bill Lawrence has signed up to work on the reboot but his busy schedule ("Shrinking," "Bad Monkey" and "Ted Lasso," plus an HBO comedy starring Steve Carell) won't allow him to be showrunner should the reboot go to series.
