Episode 6 is somber as Sonoko and Sumi finally gets their upgraded powers what we see in the first episode. Of course, they ended up using Mankai which gives them a power boost, but when it runs out, they find out first hand they loose ability to use part of their body from the effects of Sange.

Also, Sonoko crossed that wall and found out what Sumi/Mimori will eventually find out the truth about the vertexes reproducing and stuff. Basically we know what happen in the end as Mimori reverted to her old name and moving back to her biological family, and also meeting Yuuki Yuuna for the first time. Also, the hair ribbion she wears, that was given to her by Sonoko.

Still, I wonder what the movie has the 6 episode season doesn't have. Probably all the episodes in three different movies.

Anyways, time to watch the Hero Chapter next before I eventually review it…

I admit, these two episodes were quite a bit of a downer. The 4th episode focused on a field trip which is all light hearted and stuff. However, in the second half is where things get tough as Sumi, Sonoko and Gin had difficulties pushing back three vortexes at one time.

The prequel is a lot gorier especially when that Gin faught to the end, but eventually didn’t survive. Seeng Sonoko and Sumi find their friend dead after they found her. Gin's funeral is just downright depressing and Sonoko and Sumi is traumatized after losing their friend.

Eventually in the second half, Sonoko and Sumi went to the festival and there are some cute moments. However, it’s obvious the Hero system is going to get changed... well we are going to know what will happen next.

But its obvious this story will end with a bad ending, but at least it give more important details not explained in the first season.

While she sacificed a lot so Yuna can save a rampaging Mimori after finding out the truth about the hero system, the real world, and the Taisha, Karin has gone so far from being cold to finally defrosting and caring about her friends.

Now it’s up to Yuna to stop Mimori or rather, Sumi before it’s too late.

This is the episode where, well things get dark quickly. If you haven't watch Madoka Magica, Episode 8 is that episode where Yuna and Mimori learns more about the Hero system.

It's not pretty as only young girls can become heroes and become immortal. However, using the powered up Mankai ability causes them to lose or sacrifice part of the user's body and offering it to the Divine Tree.

Getting Madoka vibes already? It reminds me of this already. Also, seeing the state that Sonoko is makes me feel sympathetic given the sacrifices she made, although she is a goddess now (also apparently voiced by Hanazawa Kana).

But I wonder, how the girls will overcome this as Mimori and Yuna knows the truth. This is kind of sad given that Itsuki had her chance of singing robbed from her, after gaining the courage to do so.

But yes, the next four episodes will be pretty dark, and the other installments as well. How dark, well I will find that out eventually.

I admit, Fu and Karin would make a nice pairing, but not likely to happen though.

While the girls taking on a bunch of vortexes all at once and defeating them is a feat on it's own, this scene with Mimori and Yuna is nice on it's own, yuri wise.

Of course the Mimori and Yuna pairing is strong in this episode of course.
