Now, all was fine for the past year or so, until YouTube started blocking the server that runs the app that generates the clips.

Probably not much I can do, really. But hey, if anyone here knows a way around this, I'd love to hear it!

When a custom extraction tool like #youtubeDL is needed just to download media, we should be taking action. I couldn't download an interview with Kate #Raworth because a podcast needed javascript just to play it. And #YTDL hasn't been coded to handle that site.

Если кто не понял - один петросян взял дерево исходников yt-dl и запилил PR в репу с DMCA-письмами гитхаба.

Из-за особенностей работы гитхаба - исходники теперь навечно там :)
