#Lethbridge needs their own airline, and to purchase a few of these so we don’t need to depend on the big airlines that keep pulling out of #YQL.

@DavidM_yeg @Son_of_a_George I saw a lady just today walking one of the rental scooters across a road and then getting on and wobbly riding away on the multi-use pathway. "Old lady clothing" only, no helmet or pads. Appeared to be late 70s early 80s. I sure hope she's up to date with her calcium supplements. #yql #scooter -
A few years ago, my sister and I visited the @nikkayuko Japanese Garden in Lethbridge. Even though I grew up there, it was my first time visiting. Beautiful & serene. Definitely worth going. #yql

I always thought all the houses with flags on them were weird in the states. Recently I see a fair number of new flags in #yql of either the provincial Alberta or Canadian. Never both together.
I will ass-u-me that these are separatists and non-separatists respectively. Sad that it's come to this Yankee Doodle Dandy style of virtue signalling.
Also some idjits at the camper sewer dump site waving big Alberta flags at the cars on Mayor Magrath (major road here) today. Maybe they crawled other of the sewer. -

Our nascent #meshcore infrastructure is slowly building out in #yql #lethbridge
We don't have reliable bidirectional comms between west side and south side as of yet, but we're getting there. One of the south side repeater owners has one on an omni and another on a directional beam of some kind and has pointed it at South and North at times with some success.
Bit by bit, it's getting there, maybe we'll have good connectivity before I lose interest and squirrel! back to other hobbies. -

Food trucks aren't a new thing....
This 1908 photo shows the Owl Dining Car outside the Dominion building (1 Ave and 9 Street South) with people lined up for homesteads. The dining car provided meals and hot drinks for people who sometimes remained days in the line in order to get a homestead.
Sadly, the Owl Dining Car was lost to fire in 1910.
The Dominion Building eventually became Lethbridge's Legion, serving that function until the 1970s when a new Legion was built and this building demolished.
