#YpsiTownship's data center fight is unique in that its board of local leaders are united with the community in opposition to the project. Board members have repeatedly spoken about the University of #Michigan's lack of respect and lack of communication. In April, the Board voted to institute a 365-day moratorium on delivering water to #DataCenters. I voted. There were three proposals on my ballot, along with three candidates for parks commissioner -- a #Democrat, a #Libertarian, and an independent. Parks Commissioner might not be a high-profile position, but you would think that the candidates would post *something* about themselves online. But only one did. The independent got my vote. He seems like a decent guy and he made an effort.
