#TuneTuesday by @Kitty  is #YourFavouriteRemix, chosen by @Esoteria and I'm getting into this late because it's been a day.

Here's the GEIZ remix of Zeal & Ardor's Run, which might not be my all time favourite remix, but it's certainly getting a lot of play from me this month!

Something for the #TuneTuesday theme #YourFavouriteRemix as hosted by @Kitty chosen by @Esoteria - a song that you love that's been remixed.

Not exactly a remix, it's a quote and a sample.

The Roots "Boom!" quotes Big Daddy Kane's "Wrath of Kane" with Kane actually rapping on it, with the original sampling James Brown "Gimme Some More"

All three absolute classics.

And now the #TuneTuesday #YourFavouriteRemix that is so very dear to my heart. As you can tell, I love me some electronic music. But I also really love to rock the fuck OUT. Sometimes my favo(u)rite bands do too. Here is Depeche Mode - Nothing (Headcleanr Rock Mix): https://youtu.be/qV0_WTUZvl0?si=BFCMUNfzbpO46ggm

And another for #TuneTuesday #YourFavouriteRemix Since I've shared David Bowie, and I've shared Pet Shop Boys, now you get David Bowie AND Pet Shop Boys! Hallo Spaceboy is a song from the 1995 album Outside. Bowie asked Neil Tennant to remix Hallo Spaceboy so it could be a single. It got more lyrics as part of the PSB Remix, and became the final piece of what Neil called The Major Tom Trilogy. Also the video is bonkers. @Verso Does a mashup count as a remix? My favorite of all time is the classic Rapture Riders, a mashup of Blondie and The Doors.

I have quite a list for #TuneTuesday this week!#YourFavouriteRemix is where I spend a lot of time.
I wont educate anyone on The Magnificent David Bowie (if you don't know yet, you're in for a treat!) However, I think this song is underrated and should get more attention than it does. Jump They Say is about his half-brother, who was schizophrenic and committed suicide by stepping in front of a train. From David Bowie, here is Jump They Say (Leftfield Remix): https://youtu.be/N6Q-iX3VQFk?si=DW4FKkjgg_dL7fgn

And the one I was headed for initially for #TuneTuesday #YourFavouriteRemix is this one. Even though the remix drops the third verse which contains one of my favorite lyrics of all time, this is the best version of this song. From the days when I had a Record Store Guy I would call and say "new singles are out, can I get a full set please?" I give you Pet Shop Boys, Young Offender (Jam & Spoon Trip-O-Matic Fairytale Mix) https://youtu.be/BZPzC_llEQ4?si=oGAqC6t3br-lSsVM

And since I'm thinking about Kraftwerk, you probably already know that if you like any electronic music you have them to thank. But did you know that hip-hop also owes them? Afrika Bambaataa was obsessed with Keaftwerk and borrowed heavily from them for my next #TuneTuesday entry, Planet Rock. My favorite remix of Planet Rock is the Karl Bartos Remix. Maybe it will be #YourFavouriteRemix too. Enjoy: https://youtu.be/JaWcjfX_6YY?si=7WxNyCsfsh0whADa

I'm not sure I've done a #TuneTuesday before, but I dig this week's theme of #YourFavoriteRemix.

One of my favorite remixes EVER is this Pirates Mix: Bumblebeez Remix of Beck's "Nausea". I like it WAY better than the album version of the song. This was on the deluxe version of The Information.

Love that Beck goes for these wild remixes of his stuff.

It is #TuneTuesday and this week's theme is #YourFavouriteRemix so in the name of that extra (to the Americans) U, my contributions are from bands who also spell it that way. First up we have supergroup Electronic. Why are they a supergroup Kelly? Because Johnny Fucking Marr and Bernard Fucking Sumner decided to make music AND THEN teamed up with both Pet Shop Boys and Karl Fucking Bartos of Kraftwerk, that's why. Here is the 808 State Mix of Disappointed by Electronic. https://youtu.be/_vKHcPd7-fA?si=jYyvHs8yQZWkpYJ_

Beomhan used to be a kpop trainee. He never got to debut, so he recently decided to release his own solo song. In his own words, "it was hot garbage". Except it wasn't, it just needed some love from a skilled producer. Some fans tackled the task and there's now even a contest for one to become the official remix. This is my favorite:

Me, Myself, & I by Beomhan
