Today i watched You only live twice. It starts with an american spacecraft getting eating my a non-descript spacecraft which is of course a ploy from spectre to get the americans and soviet russia to nuke each other and was funded by what i assume would be japan(?) and communist china(based on how they look). Also out of all the 007 movies ive watched until now this is the most sexist but i guess traditionalism is always a bit sexist. Anyways spectre has a volcano base from where they launch they’re spacecrafts and 007 and tiger tanaka(head of japanese secret service) invade with 100s of ninjas making it a way better fight then in Thunderball and probably one of the best fight scenes in James Bond involving 2 big groups. The volcano base also features a janky monorail transportation system. Also the opsec of that place is lacklustre like everywhere else in the 007verse. Also its absurd that nobody noticed the base and that it wasn’t accidentality photographed by a spy satellite when the hatch was open. Q also shows up there with a small helicopter that somehow flies way faster then it should and James Bond pulls some Tabs_Official type shit to destroy 4 helicopters with his lil thing, they also reused footage of the same helicopter blowing up multiple times lmao. Theres also the part where they turned James Bond into a "Japanese"(He looked more like a Vulcan or Romulan lmao) so he could go undercover with ninjas in a fishing village near the volcano base where he also got "married" before going. In Tanaka's mission brief he said James Bond will marrier a woman with a pig face as part of the undercover mission and well he pranked James Bond real good with that one. Anyways those "modern" ninjas use guns with rocket propelled bullets which was by the way a real thing that failed cause they couldn’t stabilise them. Anyways James Bond and his "wife" went out with all the fishing boats to investigate a cave where one of the villagers was killed by unknown means and well that scene where they go there features the worst faking ever where the background projection was so horrible that the next faking looked real in comparison. They then later discover the volcano base and his "wife" goes back to get Tanaka and his ninja army and then the entire fight scene at the end happens, during all of that she was in the same bikini adjacent clothing. Anyways decent film and i liked the space related stuff.

After watching the very funny #Booksmart, I found the cover of #YouOnlyLiveTwice by #Beuhlahbelle, originally by #NancySinatra, when looking up info on its co-star, #KaitlynDever (great in #Unbelievable, on @Netflix and part of Beulahbelle, with her sister, Mady).
I saw that it's in the movie #Tully, which sounded interesting, so I added it to my Netflix queue.
Tully (starring #CharlizeTheron and #MackenzieDavis) is really good. I'm glad the rabbit hole led me to it; the song fits perfectly.
