Let's raise some funds for the rest of their grocery needs! $300 might be a good start for that.
Let's take another chunk out of Atha's debts! The IRS is being ass, cranking up its non-payment fees. They alone want $860ish. The rest of this part of the request goes to credit cards and car loan and car insurance, with any small change for food.

We need to get them AT LEAST 2 more (ideally 10 more) batteries at around $250 a pop. So $500 (ideally $2500)
Any small change from that goes to cable crimps and mounting hardware.
They also need battery insulation and heaters!Then there's the matter of insulating more of the bus itself. Not only is the insulation itself needed, so is something to hold it all in place. A layer of thin plywood would be good. Also not a cheap matter.
The bus grows heavier as more is added to it, so care needs to be taken to choose lightweight but sturdy things to fit.

The fate of Yashar Shohret, a Uyghur rapper and songwriter known by his stage name ‘Uigga,’ is emblematic of the ongoing persecution of the Uyghur people under the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). A gifted young artist whose ‘crime’ was to preserve his native language through music, Yashar's life has been derailed by the CCP’s campaign of surveillance and oppression. Yashar’s detention following the White Paper Protests—a nationwide outcry sparked by the tragic fire in Urumqi in November 2022—reflects the regime’s broader campaign to erase Uyghur cultural identity and crush resistance.
The Urumqi fire of November 24, 2022 tragically claimed the lives of 10 people who were trapped in a locked-down residential building, including a Uyghur mother and her four children. This tragedy symbolised the inhumanity of Xi Jinping’s zero-COVID policy, which prioritized enforcement of control over human wellbeing and safety. The protests that followed were unprecedented, uniting Han Chinese and Uyghurs in their shared grief and demand for change. White Paper Protest participants – holding blank sheets of paper to signify their inability to express themselves under the CCP – faced swift retaliation. As a Uyghur who openly mourned his compatriots and challenged cultural erasure through his music, Yashar was targeted twice—first in Chengdu in 2022 and again in 2023—under spurious charges of promoting extremism.
Yashar’s case exemplifies how the CCP weaponizes surveillance, censorship and fabricated legal charges to oppress Uyghurs - a campaign marked by mass detentions, cultural assimilation, and the criminalization of religious and linguistic identity. The suffering of this young musician sheds light on the CCP’s systematic and calculated assault on Uyghur identity. Continued attention from the international community is vital.
