The (imo) thoroughly deserved win for #kDrama #YouAndEverythingElse in the Baeksangs prompted me to me make another plug for the Drama it reminded me of. As very good as the #kDrama was, #twDrama #ImperfectUs was better still.
Also, it marked Lin Yi Chen's return to the screen after some time. An actor who made her name playing sweet, cute roles, she's now done several Dramas and movies in which "sweet" and "cute" are noticeable by their total absence

@AnnaAnthro I didn't watch it but even I was surprised at her omission. Near-universal praise for her performance, a very odd decision. I was pleased to see #YouAndEverythingElse nominated but omitting #DearX entirely seems cowardly

8.25/10 for #kDrama #YouAndEverythingElse - I started it because the synopsis reminded me of the outstanding #twDrama #ImperfecttUs and from beginning to end, this one suffered in comparison. For example, The concept expressed in the screenshot was better delivered by #ImperfectUs , which used quantum physics as a source of analogies and allusions. BUT the performances of the 2 leads in the #kDrama were so great they kept me going to the overlong, slightly mawkish end. The score is for them

While grimacing and suppressing the retch and rage reflex I keep reminding myself there's a good chance Drama lyrics in languages I don't grok are just as bad
