Back in 2012, a member of the activist group #YoSoy132 was kidnapped. They suspected the government of #EPN (Mexican ex-president who become immensely rich and left to Spain) was responsible, as the family of the missing person never received any request for money or any message. The group made a similar list of Twitter journalist, and they collected evidence, and send it to several journalist. It was evidence solid enough to motivate journalists to write about the missing activist. After news appeared around the world (california, germany, australia...) the person was let free.
