An incredible band with an incredible vocalist.

#YobIsLove 🤘

Spinning Yob's "Elaborations of Carbon". Released in 2002, this a nice 2023 remaster. Bluesy doom with hints of psychedelic noises. Scheidt's vocals are hit or miss depending on tastes in metal vocals - not dirty or harsh but he will sometimes growl or reach near-shrieking intensity. Intensity is the right word: I feel grief and pain here more than what most harsh vocals convey.

Love these guys and I want more of their records.

omgomgomgomg #YOB tour, with Cave In no less! I am torn...go see them local-ish in Denver or go see them at my old stomping grounds the Turf Club in St Paul. I cannot imagine seeing bands of that magnitude at the Turf.
