We have just been for a nice stroll along #Benllech beach.
It was still very warm and there were children in the sea.
People are so weird...
Thunder clouds are filling the sky, which is both beautiful and slightly alarming.

The Panton Arms in #Pentraeth make the most amazing pizzas as well as a load of other fabulous dishes.
The specials board is always so tempting.
Arrive early to get a table.

'Historic' first as two osprey chicks born on #YnysMôn.
"The adult ospreys responsible for these chicks are one of about 300 breeding pairs in the UK, with about 20 in Wales."

Morning. 😁
I took this photo of Bodafon mountain yesterday evening and I will contrast it against a similar shot taken in 2024.The landscape up here on #YnysMón isn't as parched as further down south.

It is so nice to be back on #YnysMôn. It will be our home for the next 3 whole weeks.
Outside of our window, we can see #mynyddbodafon and the hedges are full of #draenddu sloes.
There may be some sloe gin making at some point.
Follow us for many more adventures...
Such fun!

Looking back over photos from 2024, and came across this one from Plas Cadnant near #Beaumaris on #Anglesey.
I think I need some new glasses, as these ones make me look like a news reader.

"The company said overweight vehicles present an increased risk because of the additional 42 tonnes of weight from the AeroTruss platform, which has been suspended beneath the bridge to allow maintenance work while keeping both traffic lanes open for most of the project. It said the alternative would have been traffic lights throughout the works, causing greater disruption."

Not my best photo but the first time I visited the magical Ynys Llanddwyn - a small tidal island just off Anglesey https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ynys_Llanddwyn #throwbackthursday #ynysmon

I have been researching my family tree for the last few years now, & although it is for mostly academic reasons, it has certainly explained a few things to me.
My strongest DNA compatibility is for #YnysMôn and #NorthWales, which makes alot of sense because we both love the place so much.
I have located possible former relatives in #MenaiBridge and also near #Llangefni. This family line then splits between the island and the #Conwy valley.
So, looks like I'm half #Gog!
Exciting stuff! ☺️

We have booked tickets to see #Madfabulous at our local cinema this afternoon.
I have read some good things about it and we are looking forward to seeing some of our favourite bits of #YnysMôn in the big screen.
As well as #PlasNewydd, you also get to see some bits of the hidden gardens of #PlasCadnant to boot.
And, in the immortal words of Oscar Wilde, be yourself, everyone else is taken. 😁

We spent our final evening at our favourite Indian restaurant at #FourCrosses on #YnysMón.
Always a lovely welcome and great food.

Happy Thursday.
It's rather blustery across #YnysMôn today. We went to #Beaumaris past night for a meal, which was a nice treat.
The castle was looking resplendent too.
We are going to the #eternalshame of #SuePerkins at #VenueCymru in #Llandudno later on.

We can't believe that we have already been living (albeit temporarily) up on #YnysMôn.
One of the many benefits of being here is coming to experience the changing seasons and how these play out in nature and also at special places such as Bodnant.
The true #legacy of the pioneering though questionale activities of plant hunters is that we now get to experience some fabulous plants in their prime.
Bodnant is renowned for its camellias and #red #rhododendron species & hybrids that just glow.
