In my article, I was using AX to denote the equivalent for agents. My main point wasn't that AX is replacing UX, but that "it's time to go beyond traditional UX," as I put it in the concluding subheader. #YMMV

UI, beyond the desktop norm anyway has to adapt to display anything and inheritance is a great shortcut in this regard but, like everything else, can be abused, never rebased, and ignored adhoc.

Starting from a blank page it is possible and even desirable, some might say enjoyable to write in a properrly ruled oop manner.

But as always whatever is/was best for the project wins, Hell I've shipped the ui in procedural pascal before.

@cR0w I use Proton. I don’t really trust them. It’s not a security service for me though, just a privacy option that gives me a lot of what I was looking for in that regard - something not Google, Microsoft, Apple or Yahoo and in the EU. I read all their documentation before switching almost two years ago. They were quite transparent that they would provide the information they had about an account when served a valid Swiss warrant. They even list how many times they’ve done it: https://proton.me/legal/transparency. They aren’t small numbers. If I need security, and I am not saying I do or don’t, I would not use a single service or a well known “we’re here to make money” company like Proton or a credit card even a privacy.com card. Being angry about this is like being angry at the scorpion for stinging the fox. What else did you think he they were going to do when served a valid warrant? I feel the person outed was a victim of their own assumptions as much as anything. If you are going to go up against the state, especially when you know they’re gunning for you, don’t be dumb I say. The movie Number 24 should be your guide. #ymmv

@vandenberglegs i am sure carbon frames can last almost as long as steel frames ; you just have to take much better care of them than steel frames! and most people can't do that. i certainly can't :-) #Ymmv

@Anibyl Carbon is what carbon does :-). If you ride your carbon bicycle a lot, it will have these sorts of "cracking" issues far sooner than a steel frame ridden the same distance. It seems pointless unless you are part of a racing team with a mechanic and you get new bicycles every 5 years or less OR you have lots of $ #Ymmv
