#atarist #ym2413 #ms10823 So, I'm expanding ;) Wrote driver for FM Melody Maker cart and i've added support for it vgm player. I've managed to replay some tunes from MSX/MSX2 :).. Much better than demo tunes from package. There wasn't any coding samples, but interface was similar to mine used on opl2/3 cart, but simpler. Hope to upload some samples later... It could be nice expansion if would be more widespread back in time(89) and programming interface was actually documented..

This lovely #demoscene -ish release is jam-packed with #MSXMusic (#YM2413 #OPLL) and #MSXAudio (#Y8950 and #OPL1) tunes from various #MSX artists.
It also includes a bunch of #1bit animations, some of which were made by yours truly, so I guess this sort of is my first proper #demoscener contribution. ;)

　パワードリフトのEコース曲「Artistic Traps」を(無謀にも…)YM2413で打ち込んでみました。
　内蔵音色によるバッキングギターの再現を諦めた関係で、アレンジは比較的強めです。

Yesterday I saw a post by @inversephase with some excellent #MSX music using the #YM2413 FM synth chip: https://hackers.town/@inversephase/109321388753098184. Of course I want to hear it in person on real hardware, and that needs an FM-PAK which I don't have. Rather than buy one, why not make one? I found a schematic by Erik Luppes and cleaned it up a bit based on some suggestions on MSX.org - better routing of analog signals, more filtering/bypass, etc!
