1/2 I'm working on making #download becoming the next #streaming ; simple #yggdrasilNetwork powered music #P2P dubbed #cjdradio is 2yo next month. Crafting a leech only player for on-demand streaming is my current job.

Note: Cjdradio allows to give access to a "private", unshared collection to selected (possibly distant) Yggdrasil IPs (which remains forever valid and authenticated by cypher and #E2Ee 'd at the transport layer)

Ugg... The Yggdrasil msi installer is broken, trying to figure out how to fix, but I don't feel like installing Wix tooset and getting it into my msys2 path right now. Look, I understand that Windows is a pain in the ass, and I would love to just use Linux for everything. I can't though, some people just have to use it for some things. hay, anyone want to build our own decentralized network with me based on Yggdrasil? for those who are unaware what ygggdrasil is, here is the description from there github: "Yggdrasil is an early-stage implementation of a fully end-to-end encrypted IPv6 network. It is lightweight, self-arranging, supported on multiple platforms and allows pretty much any IPv6-capable application to communicate securely with other Yggdrasil nodes. #yggdrasilnetwork in #Debian #Bookworm and #Trixie aren't compatible with each other, which was a surprise . At least I know now, so I won't be trying to make it do what it says it doesn't...

Я уже писал, кажется, что у меня есть небольшая, но гордая, изолированная от основной ветки сетка на игге.
(tldr, ygg - это одноранговая оверлейная ipv6 mesh сетка).

Очень хотелось иметь какой-нибудь мониторинг, какие ноды в ней есть, кто к чему подключен, как пакетики ходят...

Есть проекты карты, который уже чуть ли не третью или четвертую оверлейную сетку живет, однако там есть фаттальный недостаток.

Она написана через жопу, и поддерживать её для собственных нужно было гиперсложно.
Поэтому пришлось переписать и получилось вот это ;)

I wrote before, that I have a small but proud, isolated from the main branch net on ygg.
(tldr, ygg is a peer-to-peer overlay ipv6 mesh).

I really wanted to monitor what nodes are there, who is connected to what, how packets go...

There are project of map, which is almost the third or fourth overlay mesh is living, but there is a fatal flaw.

It was written through the ass, and it was hyper difficult to maintain it for your own.

@tezoatlipoca not a self-jostler here, but what would think of #YggdrasilNetwork nodes "on both ends", just for admin?

@[email protected] Alternative option: put your #DNS server behind Yggdrasil and connect that way. I do that in my #Android phone! :P Which somehow is a better option than #DoT because the DNS of the ISP behind my #mobile data is blocking freedns.afraid.org's domains for some reason

Next step in the process of setting up my sister's new router... How to connect to it after FAI hands-off installs #Debian? I know she's got #Ipv6 but don't know if her existing router will let ssh inbound (likely not unless I set that up at one point). If not, I'll have her apt install #yggdrasil and use the #yggdrasilnetwork. Will prob do that anyway to help with the dance where we swap it for her existing router.

Just tried setting up the #yggdrasil #yggdrasilnetwork daemon on my Android phone again. Everything works like a charm after a restart, including wyrd DNS :blobmiou:
