  1. Pseudo-Dionysius the Areopagite, early Christian, writes on Christians in a plague. They visited, prayed, and died with the sick without a thought of peril. They laded selves with pains.

    We saw Christians object to COVID measures if it laded selves with pains. Others wanted to close borders when dark people might have a disease, but let in cruise ships full of sick white people.

  2. David Livingstone was a Congregationalist minster and medical missionary. Here he says if full horror of lives lost to slave trade were known, it would be stopped “at all risks”.

    Nowadays, don’t we cower in fear of the risks of opposing slavery? Gotta support pro-slavery theologians if they only had one other, good religious idea; reject a good textbook if “comprehensive accounts” might offend?
