The strait can be bypassed by pipelines and rail-links to #Saudi ports on #RedSea and to the #UAE, #Omani, #Yemini ports in Indian Ocean and Arabian Sea. Many of these pipelines and rail links already exist. They will need to have their capacity augmented.
