Sad day in Edmonton’s beer scene as Asymmetrical is closing down. In addition to great beer they had the wonderful idea of catering to beer lovers with young kids so there was a great play area. Glad to see it packed tonight and we got a growler on our way out.

I really like this group. Pick from casual/medium/fast pace, pay a nominal fee that includes a beer, meet at a brewery (different every time). Do your ride, led by a guide, end up back at the brewery. Stay for a beer after, or not. Sit and chat with others, or not. I’m the only one who still masks to go in and order but no one’s ever batted an eye. All very chill (the “join us…or don’t” in the sign is definitely accurate), and very much my speed.
