Yazz (spiky white hair, double denim) and the Plastics (two male dancers in bright tops).
Yazz doesn't go in for quality miming, she's more of the dancing and gyrating and making the sound of the moment feel like it's the sound of every summer from here to eternity.
This perf was recorded last week, but Yazz comes back tonight in the same outfit just to greet The Queen Of England and Goodiebags.

"Treat me good" - Yazz
70s disco-soul throwback, with a long break in the middle during which Yazz vocalises, and we get picture-in-picture with two angles of her.
This is ... OK, and for Yazz OK is slightly underwhelming.
After the muted public response, Yazz pulled album "Revolution of Love" to concentrate on life with husband Jaz and daughter Rio.

"Fine time" - Yazz.
She stands alone, in a light summer dress, to sing a winsome song about how annoying it is that her bloke is leaving her. And, basically, that's it for three minutes. Precious little stagecraft on display here.
This is a summer record, one to put out in june or july and soundtrack hazy sunny days in the park. "Wanted on the floor" would have been a stronger track for release in february.

Yaz - You and Me Both
I’m not one to throw around the term “underrated” but I feel like this record is overshadowed by Upstairs at Eric’s—which is of course a classic. But this one gets better with age. Some of the synth sounds that might have dated it at the time fully work in our post-genre age. I mean, $6 probably 10 years ago was a ridiculously good price for a VG+ record.
