HodgePodge Crochet is Now on Patreon
After a lot of thought, I’ve officially launched a Patreon for HodgePodge Crochet.
If you’ve been following along for a while, you already know that I’m constantly working on new designs, testing ideas, and refining patterns. I may not release patterns every week, but there is always something in progress behind the scenes. Patreon gives me a place to share more of that process and offer a more organized way for those who want to be more involved.
This space is designed to be simple, consistent, and actually useful—not overwhelming.
There are two tiers available.
The first tier, Studio Access, is for those who want a closer look behind the scenes. You’ll get early access to tester calls before they’re posted publicly, along with updates on what I’m working on, yarn choices, and sneak peeks of upcoming designs.
The second tier, Pattern Club, includes everything in the first tier plus one pattern per month as a downloadable PDF. You’ll also get early access to patterns before they’re released publicly, priority consideration for tester selection, and access to a monthly live session where we can go over crochet questions, pattern help, or current projects.
One thing that’s important to know is that Patreon is where I can share more of my way of thinking and show my process along the way.

Ok #Crochet Fediverse (and other Yarn based crafts too).
I need to find a simple, one colour, backstitch and/or cross-stitch rose pattern to decorate the front of a small jumper for a bear.
The pattern I am following has a snowflake (see picture) and my search-fu has fu-cked off.
Can anyone find me a similar rose? (Edited to add, please not Ravelry links)

L’université de Montréal researchers find a cute, more ethical and effective way to find out what’s going on in cats brains with EEGs.
“In a world first, researchers devised a way to non-invasively scan the brains of awake cats — instead of drilling electrodes into their skulls.”
Woke up to this cheering story about a new smart and kind way to study cats’ experiences of chronic pain and alternative ways to soothe it.
‘ “We knew that crochet hats only existed to be cute and we wanted to adapt them to our scientific purpose,” Delsart told the Star. “A successful bet!”
Another student and ardent crocheter in their lab got to work knitting the hats, into which were embedded ten gold-plated EEG electrodes.’

Those are both on my linktree — but I'm wondering if the Mastodon community of #crochet and #yarncrafts could give me some insight on which of those platforms I should promote more on my socials? Specifically for pattern selling.
