"#ChaseGoldstein, an assistant #coach at #Duquesne, was sitting in his office scrolling on his phone when a viral video caught his attention. “#ChaimGalbut Is The Best #Jewish Hooper In The Country!!” read the caption. The reel had more than 100,000 views. Watching the two-minute, seven-second package of highlights, #Goldstein was stunned. This wasn’t just another kid dunking a ball. What he saw was a mix of ferocious one-handed slams, some over outstretched arms, and sometimes after a smooth in-and-out dribble or swift spin move. The kid could shoot from deep, too. And he was doing it all with a #yarmulke perched on top of his head.
Goldstein, who grew up in a #Jewish home, had never seen anything like it. He was also surprised that, as a fellow native of South #Florida, he’d never heard of #Galbut. He made some calls."

"Witnesses told police 43-year-old #ChyvonneJuanitaPalmer was sitting inside the Starbucks when she suddenly stood up, approached the victim, screamed at him and struck him twice with a cellphone, hitting him in the head and shoulder.
Police said #Palmer briefly returned to her seat before grabbing a metal chair and raising it as she aggressively approached the victim.
Witnesses intervened before she could strike him and escorted the victim into a restroom for safety.
According to the arrest report, one witness heard Palmer repeatedly yell, “I hate them.” Investigators noted the victim is #Jewish and was wearing a #yarmulke at the time of the attack."

So I just saw an anti-Trump political cartoon that showed #Trump wearing a #yarmulke. Not waving an #Israeli flag or anything like that, you understand. Just wearing a blue yarmulke, emblazoned with a white Star of David. There are probably millions such caps floating around, all over the world.
This is not an attempt to tie Trump to #Israel. This is an attempt to tie all #Jews, everywhere, to Trump.
I have lately spent a lot of time defending the political #left against blanket charges of #antisemitism. I often say that while there are certainly #leftist #antisemites and always have been, antisemitism is deeply and permanently embedded in #right-wing ideology in a way it never has been on the left. And I still believe that practically everywhere in the world *except* Israel, this is true.
You motherfuckers aren't making it easy, I gotta say.
