Have you heard of #Yakult? The sweet probiotic drink in small bottles, and usually in packs of 5?

If you are from #Asia, Yakult is the most popular probiotic drink brand. It is produced by a #Japanese company called Yakult Honsha.

What most are not aware of is that “yakult” is not a native Japanese word. I was surprised about it myself. It came from the #Esperanto word #jahurto which means, #yogurt.

#Yakult - one of my favourite drinks as a kid growing up in Asia. Now the Asian supermarket in Tampere has it!

#Danone Actimel - similar probiotic yogurt drink, and the closest in taste I've found to Yakult (which I still prefer).
