We made #yakitori for dinner today. Had negima, other chicken, steak, bacon-wrapped tomatoes, as well as summer rolls. Ate it as it came off the grill, so don't have a picture of everything. Attached is steak, tomatoes, and sausage.

Hugo maakt vandaag een echte redactiefavoriet: Yakitori, ofwel geroosterde kip met saus. Daarbij maakt hij een heerlijke haricots verts salade met gepofte puntpaprika, chili en amandel. We starten met de yakitori. Verderop lees je het recept voor de salade.

Soooo hungry. Waited in a queue for 20min then walked into a tiny 6th fl Yakitori restaurant called "Torikizoku" & looked at this menu. Now bear in mind, I barely have a Kindergarten level understanding of Japanese.
WAAHHH
Then out of the corner of my eye, I see how guests order... in English! I hit so many buttons, food practically streamed to our table. Dropped a hundy & then some.

On a side note, does anyone know where to eat Torisashi or Toriwasa? The place I had it previously stopped selling it. The ojisan said that the local Government banned it, or something of that sort.
Chicken sashimi is edible only if the chickens are farmed safely, and the Toriwasa version it's lightly seared before serving. Delicious. :meow_hungry_anim:

Hey, this バードランド (Bird Land) yakitori place in Polar Bear Cafe sounds familiar...
Ah, it's one of those Yakitori places I visited before (pic from Google search, can't find my pics on phone :blobfoxterrified: ). It was delicious. A little expensive, but most Yakitori places are. It reminds me of freshly charcoal grilled satay from Singapore or Indonesia. :meow_hungry_anim:
