Iran received a shipment of YAK-130 trainer jets in anticipation of SU-35 deliveries
The #YAK-130 is a Russian training jet that can be used in training for many 4th generation fighter jets, including the SU-35.Presumably, Iranian pilots will start training on these jets to prepare for the eventual arrival of the #SU-35.
This delivery marks the first real step in #Iran's deal to obtain at least two squadrons of SU-35s fighter jets from #Russia, which has been subject of speculation for a long time.
